JJ completed his undergraduate schooling with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Xavier University in Ohio. He went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. JJ continued his education, post-graduation, as he worked to become a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Titleist Performance Institute Certified. JJ is interested in treating a wide variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions in addition to working with athletes of all ages to prevent and rehab from injuries.

JJ focuses on providing individualized patient care that utilizes evidence based manual therapy treatment and targeted exercises. This includes joint, soft tissue, and/or neural mobilization followed by specific individualized exercise progression, patient education, and reassessment. He ties these treatments to patient’s unique goals so they can achieve improved function and prevent future injury.

When he is not in the clinic, JJ enjoys traveling with his wife and trying different restaurants in Chicago. He also enjoys playing golf, basketball, and football.
